Product Summary

This system uses the same double pass UV technology as the residential Lifeflo^® under sink unit with only two filters.

The Water Thing® - a revolutionary new appliance - utilizes the latest technology to bring you the ultimate in convenience, delivering an unlimited supply of delicious, multi-temperature, pure drinking water at the touch of a button, without the need for cumbersome bottled water. The Water Thing® uses a combination of patented ultraviolet (UV) light, activated carbon filtration, and sophisticated electronics "the water brain", to purify, heat, chill  and dispense water and insure that the system will not re-contaminate itself. The patented UV system is used to kill bacteria and viruses in the source water and to prevent any bacterial contamination of the system. The activated carbon filtration is used to remove harmful chemicals and chlorine by-products. Chilling and heating tanks assure the user of an adequate supply of water at the temperature desired. The microprocessor system controls the operation of The Water Thing® and monitors its operation with positive indication to the user when maintenance is required. The Water Thing® eliminates the hassle, expense and in-convenience of storing, lugging, and spilling bottled water, and gives you the "peace of mind" assurance that every drop of water you use will be pure, healthy and delicious.  The Water Thing® tells you when it needs maintenance and won't let you take water from it if it's not safe. Key Features

• Combines UV Sterilization with Triple Filtration

  The patented double pass UV system is used to kill bacteria and viruses in the source water and to prevent any bacterial contamination of the system. Water passes through Teflon coils around the UV light both before and after passing through the filters to eliminate bacteria from entering the filters and then again a second time after filtration but before the water is delivered to the spout for consumption. The activated carbon filtration is used to remove harmful chemicals and chlorine by-products from your drinking water. Bacteria is prevented from entering The Water Thing^® through the spout because the UV light shines on the spout constantly keeping the spout sanitary.

• Dispenses choice of hot, chilled and room temperature water

  Simple three button design allows the user to select water delivered at a predetermined temperature depending on the button selected. After depressing the red button the system will dispense hot water at a temperature of 109 F. Pressing the white button will cause the machine to dispense water at the actual room temperature of the cold water supply. Pressing the blue button will cause The Water Thing^® to dispense chilled water at 43 F.
